Fermented Mustard spread
This spread is the number 1 favourite in Gal’s Kitchen Culture workshops. It is one of those recipes that we are so used to getting as an “off the shelf” product that is hard to imagine making it on your own. However, it is surprisingly easy to make and the end result is better than you can expect.
Ingredients
300 g of fermented mustard seeds
80 g of apple cider vinegar (fire cider or morning tonic work great here)
20 grams of ground turmeric
20 grams of maple syrup
100 grams of olive oil
Preparation
Blend all together using a blender or food processor. Taste and correct flavour if needed.
